Does anyone know what "CPM Mail Drop" is? It was on a Frank Kern audio about Internet Marketing.?
October 6th, 2009 by adminThat term was on a Frank Kern audio about Internet Marketing. It relates to "cost per thousand" and the "mail drop" refers to email, but the rest is a mystery.

It refers to e-mail list brokers. They can rent you a list at a cost per thousand. There are opt in lists and compiled lists, which are less targeted. Go to the SRDS, find the most targeted publications for your niche, find out who brokers that list, rent the list, offer something for free in exchange for opt in to your list. Shazaaam! now you have your own list. You supply the mail piece to the broker, they send the mail out, they provide you with a report regardign the number and % delivered, the number and %opened, the number and %read, etc. Happy marketing to you!

I read an article on A-Weber that says buying emails is a waist of money, time, and head ache …as in getting banned by internet provider?
What your take on this?
