Can Google ban me from having a different Adwords account from my Adsense account?

February 23rd, 2010 by admin

Does anyone know for sure? I realize Google can ban you for having multiple Adwords account, but can't Google just connect my Adwords account which is different from my Adsense account (having two different email addresses).

Thank you. I would greatly appreciate your response.

Ok, why will Google ban you for having different Adwords and Adsense account? There are many Adsense publishers who manage different Adwords accounts for their clients, and they are not banned

What Google doesn't like is Adsense Arbitrage which are usually made for AdSense (MFA) websites — meaning no valuable content but merely a vehicle to serve ads. Google started cracking down in May 2007 on arbitrage sites or those sites that uses Adwords significantly to bring traffic because the site in and by itself cannot get traffic because of its worthless content

You can have multiple AdWords accounts. Did you know each AdWords account has a certain limit to the number of campaigns it allows? If I remember correctly i think it's 100 or 125.

So what would happen if you went over that? Stop advertising? No, Google allows you to create another account :)
