This book is 100% useless. There is zero insight. All this is is various information gathered from the google pages and putting it in the worst format possible. Every page is watermarked with an annoying "Top Secret" in large red letters, the table of contects has no associated page numbers, etc. I will only feel a little guilty of this review if I find that the author is a fourth grader who did this book as a class project.

I bought this book as a result of it being "suggested" by one of Amazon's emails to me. To be perfectly honest, this book is not good at all. As has been said already... Big type. Lots of space. Also, I found much of the information repetitive. The real information in this book could be easily distilled into a few pages of "tips."

At the beginning of the book, the author says that he won't go through the Adwords sign-up process, since it's self-explanatory when you do it online. But, then he takes up many pages doing what he said he wasn't going to do.

The material presented in this book is VERY elementary. I was expecting something new, advanced, and usable. I found nothing I didn't already know.

Furthermore, there are several typos and some paragraphs that seemed out of sequence. It's just not written in a logical sequential order.

I will also strongly agree that the "top secret" graphic on EVERY page is EXTREMELY distracting, making it more difficult to read. [...]

I really was hoping for more, especially when you consider the price of this "booklet." It really is a booklet rather than a book. Actually, it barely qualifies as a booklet. It could have been just a "tip sheet" for beginners.

It's called "The Best Damn Google Adwords Book." I was fooled by the title. I expected much more than a VERY basic introduction to Adwords. The "For Dummies" books on this subject are MUCH better, far more comprehensive, and for a better price.

Sorry, Harry, but I'm a straight shooter.
