how much does video editing cost?

i am trying to get a basic estimate for a 22 minute simple video, live action. what might the price be (per day) to edit that.

    It depends what is involved. My price could be anywhere from $25 to $2,500 depending on what you mean by "editing". Splicing footage, adding effects, what?

    Professional editing (I know I used to do in in television) can now days run $150++ per hour depending on what you want done.

    The more you do, the more time the more $$.

    22 minutes probably plan on at least 3-to-4 solid hours – do the math.
