I know that link exchanges help a website's ranking in search engines like Google, but does a banner exchange do the same? Because isn't a link to your website technically on a different website, counting as a linkback? Or, because the banners are constantly rotated with other websites' banners, it doesn't count?

I am budgeting $60 a month, have 2 popular keywords, willing to pay .35 per click… how / what can i tweak to get more impressions? I only have 2 keywords because the others weren't doing much. So I kept the two hottest keywords. I have a decent quality index as well, 3 out of 5 bars.
